More and More Pictures of Kuala Selangor Trip

We were thinking whether or not to cycle into the mangrove jungle at the Nature's Park, Kuala Selangor. Not many visitors at the time we were there.

This is the picture of all four of us. From left, Hj Rujhan, Azad, me (in all blue) and Azhar. Then, we crossed the bridge heading towards fishing village, looking for the kampung food stall. When we asked the owner of the gas station, she just told Azad " kedai makan melayu....susah...ooo, tak manyak, jalang-jalang ...".Therefore, we just passed through the village small road heading towards Kampung Kuantan. And the best part was to refill our ever recepting stomach with mamak's special.

About ten minutes to the East of Kuala Selangor, we stoped at Kampung Kuantan. There is a jetty for boat ride to observe thousands of fire flies lighting up the trees along the river bank. We read about it but I personally have not seen it. The boat departs just before the sun set every day. When we were there, a group of kampung boys were fishing udang galah and they cought one. Overall, it was a good ride. We saw some boys cycling carrying Jalur Gemilang to celebrate the Independence Day. None of us did carry the flag... shame on us..we should have... next year then, insyaallah.
