A Visit to Jasmi's Fish Farm

Last week, 16th Dec 2006, my family and I stoped at Sungai Chukai and visited Jasmi's fish farm. It has been quite a year since he started the operation and I had not had a chance to visit him since.

My children were experiencing a "guaranteed-catch" fishing and of course, Jasmi himself dressed and acted in the most convincing way that fish farming is his "life" interest! Syabas!!

The most thrilling experience, and I am always overwhelmed with the view that whenever the fish pallets were thrown into the net, all the healthy Siakaps were splashing and catching the long waited food.

Again, Jasmi is more than happy to entertain anyone on a boat fishing trip especially at this time of the year for fishing the udang galah. Nevertheless, he would not be able to assist in the "jebok bird" activity...:-)

Nothing compares to a fresh catch such as this....
