Awana Ride 15 July 2006
Azad and I decided to join a group of 12 riders to Awana early Saturday morning. Hj Rujhan and Idzham were at the gathering station sharp at 8:30 AM when Azad and I arrived.

Taman Melati ProJet Station was almost out of parking space as everybody lined up bikes waiting for the flag-off.

The ride to Awana via Hulu Yam was a blast. I reached every check point a bit ahead of the easy rider, Honda Magna 750. Azad's Zephyr blasted-off full steam following bullet fast and trajectory cornering R1, F4 and GSX... (perhaps they do not know Azad's ability to top the mechanical cc's of any fast machine as they realized that the metallic blue Zypher was just inches from their tails almost at every corner...).

Me? My running-in Fazer reached the check points at time others were colling off the engines awaiting for my arrival. Since the trip was about negotiating corners and who would pay for Awana's nasi lemak, we had only pictures at the starting point and at the arrival parking bay only. Other sceneries seemed to rush off quickly out of our way.... life in the fast lane is always missing something, note that!
