Trip to Calgary - October 11-18, 2006
Sorry that this article is pubished late in the year. This second time trip to Calgary was really worth it. Most of the time in this trip was spent in the skiing resort, Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, Alberta (45 minute drive North of Calgary). The place was quiet with spectacular maountain views.
The day that I arrived in Vancouver Airport, the normal quiet side of the domestic airport had not changed much in Canada. You could sense it from the picture you see below...

Then, when I reached Kananskis, the whole nature things came alive in me... mountains, river, icy-waterfalls... they were all right infront of my eyes.

We had a good 2 hour walk in the mountain, guided by an excellent naturalist, unfortunately, I could not recall his name who's a friend of Phil Mittertreiner. If you realised, the trees sorrounding us are basically originated from the underground roots from the mother tree of the same species spreading the area with its generations... they grew from suckers to mature trees. I believe it because they are still trees anyway... kinda similar story that we came from Adam and Eve's first generation, and we are still human.... but not definitely from monkeys of Charles Darwin's teory. Cruel! :-)
